Full Wraps, Partial Wraps and Vehicle Graphics

A vehicle wrap can cover the whole vehicle, part of it, or just the doors and tailgate. How much you cover sets most of the price, so it is the first thing to decide.

  • Full wraps cover the whole body in printed vinyl. They suit food trucks, launch vehicles and fleets that need one uniform look. Design is included in the price of a full wrap.
  • Partial wraps print the panels people see most, such as the sides, rear quarters and tailgate, and use the vehicle’s own paint color for the rest. You get much of the impact of a full wrap for less.
  • Vehicle graphics and lettering put your logo, phone number, website and license number on the doors and back. They cost the least and suit a single work truck whose paint is already in good shape. For removable options, see car decals and magnets.

Car, Van, Truck and Trailer Wraps We Install in Houston

We install car wraps and van wraps in Houston on most makes and models, from a Mini Cooper to a Sprinter van. Truck, trailer, food truck and fleet wraps each have their own page, linked below, with more photos and details.

  • Car wraps. Full and partial wraps for sedans, SUVs and compact cars used for sales calls, deliveries and real estate. Company cars and business fleets are covered on our commercial car wraps page.
  • Van wraps. Cargo vans and high roof vans such as the Sprinter have large, flat side panels, so even a partial van wrap can carry your logo, services and phone number at a size people can read from the next lane.
  • Truck wraps. Pickups and service trucks, with a full wrap, a partial wrap or lettering. See truck wraps in Houston.
  • Box truck wraps. A box truck gives you large, flat panels on both sides and the back. See box truck wraps.
  • Trailer and bus wraps. Enclosed trailers, cargo trailers and buses. See bus and trailer wraps.
  • Food truck wraps. Full wraps that carry your menu, logo and social handles. See food truck wraps and the Lydian Mediterranean Grill food truck we wrapped.
  • Fleet wraps. Matched wraps and graphics across three or more vehicles, printed from one approved design. See fleet wraps and fleet graphics.

How Much Does a Vehicle Wrap Cost in Houston?

A vehicle wrap in Houston typically costs from about $1,500 for a small partial wrap to about $6,500 for a full wrap on a high roof van or box truck, according to our 2026 vehicle wrap pricing guide. Vehicle graphics and lettering cost less than either. These ranges are for budgeting. Your quote is based on your vehicle and your design.

Four things move the price:

  • Coverage. Lettering costs less than a partial wrap, and a partial wrap costs less than a full wrap.
  • Vehicle size and shape. A compact car takes far less vinyl and labor than a high roof van. Deep curves, rivets and corrugated panels on box trucks and trailers take more installer time.
  • Design. A logo, phone number and web address take less design and proofing than a full photographic wrap. Design is included in the price of a full wrap.
  • Old vinyl. If an old wrap or old lettering has to come off first, removal is part of the quote.

For a fleet, we price per vehicle, and every vehicle after the first prints from the same approved artwork. For the full breakdown by coverage, read Vehicle Wrap Cost in Houston. If you are working to a fixed budget, read how to get vehicle wraps on a budget, then ask us to price a partial wrap and a full wrap side by side.

3M Controltac Vinyl and a Three-Year Limited Warranty

We print every vehicle wrap on 3M Controltac with matching 3M laminate. The laminate protects the print from sun, road grime and washing.

3M rates its Controltac print wrap film (IJ180mC) for an expected performance life of up to 10 years, for unprinted white film on a flat, vertical surface in a Northern European climate (3M product bulletin). Printed wraps in Houston sun, and horizontal panels such as hoods and roofs, will not last that long. Ask us what to expect for your vehicle and where it is parked.

Our vehicle wrap installations carry a three-year limited warranty. Your account manager can tell you exactly what it covers before you approve the quote.

How a Vehicle Wrap Project Works

  1. Quote. Tell us the year, make and model, what the wrap needs to say, and your date. We look at the vehicle, share ideas and give you a free estimate. Call (713) 701-9741 or request a quote online.
  2. Design and proof. Our in-house design team builds the wrap around your brand and sends you proofs. You can ask for changes before anything is printed.
  3. Print. We print the approved design on 3M Controltac and laminate it.
  4. Install. Our installation crew lines up the panels and applies the wrap to your vehicle.
  5. Care. We show you how to wash and look after the wrap, and help with touch-ups later.

If you need the vehicle wrapped by a fixed date, such as a launch or an event, rush options are available. Tell us the date when you ask for a quote.

Vehicle Wraps as Advertising for Houston Businesses

A wrap turns a vehicle you already drive into advertising: on every trip down the 610 Loop, I-10 or US-59, and every hour it is parked outside a job. You pay for it once, not every month, and it keeps working for the life of the wrap.

Houston businesses we wrap for include:

  • Home services and contractors. Plumbing, landscaping and pool service vans and trucks, with your phone number and license number where customers can read them.
  • Restaurants and food trucks. Full wraps that show the food and make the truck easy to find at a park or an event.
  • Delivery services. Vans that customers recognize when they pull up to the door.
  • Real estate agents. Car wraps and door graphics that put your name in the neighborhoods you list in.
  • Corporate fleets. One look across every company vehicle. See fleet graphics and how to refresh fleet graphics.

How to Care for a Vehicle Wrap

Routine care keeps a wrap looking right for longer. The rules are simple:

  • Hand wash with mild soap and water. Avoid car washes with stiff brushes that can scratch the vinyl.
  • Dry gently with a soft cloth instead of letting water spots sit.
  • Park in the shade or a garage when you can, to slow fading.
  • Clean spots quickly. Wipe off bird droppings, tree sap and road grime with a damp cloth.
  • Skip harsh chemicals. Gasoline, bleach and strong solvents can damage the wrap.

Frequently Asked Questions About Vehicle Wraps in Houston

How much does a vehicle wrap cost in Houston?

Our 2026 vehicle wrap pricing guide puts most jobs between about $1,500 for a small partial wrap and about $6,500 for a full wrap on a high roof van or box truck. Where your vehicle lands depends on how much of it you cover, its size and shape, and the design. Send us the year, make and model for an exact quote.

What is the difference between a full wrap, a partial wrap and vehicle graphics?

A full wrap covers the whole body in printed vinyl. A partial wrap prints selected panels and uses the vehicle’s own paint for the rest. Vehicle graphics are lettering and logos on the doors and back. Coverage is the biggest factor in the price.

What vinyl do you use for vehicle wraps?

We print every vehicle wrap on 3M Controltac with matching 3M laminate. The laminate protects the print from sun, road grime and washing.

How long does a vehicle wrap last?

3M rates its unprinted Controltac wrap film for up to 10 years on a flat, vertical surface in a Northern European climate. Printed wraps in Houston sun, and horizontal panels such as hoods and roofs, will not last that long, and washing and parking make a difference. Ask us what to expect for your vehicle.

Do you warranty your vehicle wraps?

Yes. Our vehicle wrap installations carry a three-year limited warranty. Your account manager can tell you exactly what it covers.

Will a wrap damage my vehicle’s paint?

When quality vinyl is installed on sound factory paint and removed correctly, a wrap does not damage the finish. It can protect the paint underneath from sun and minor wear.

Is design included in the price of a vehicle wrap?

Design is included in the price of a full wrap, and you see proofs before anything is printed. For a partial wrap or vehicle graphics, ask about design when you request your quote.

How quickly can you wrap my vehicle?

It depends on the vehicle, how much of it you cover and how quickly the design is approved. Rush options are available, so tell us your date when you ask for a quote.

What vehicles do you wrap?

Cars, SUVs, pickups, cargo and high roof vans, box trucks, trailers, buses, food trucks and whole fleets. We wrap most makes and models, from a Mini Cooper to a Sprinter.
